HavenLabs LLC ("EventHaven," "we," "us," or "our") operates the EventHaven platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding it. By using EventHaven, you agree to the practices described here.
Account information. When you create an Organizer account, we collect your name, email address, and organization details.
Event registration data. When Attendees register for events, we collect the information submitted on the registration form — typically name, email address, phone number, organization, and any custom fields the Organizer has added. This data is provided to the Organizer of that event.
Payment data. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. EventHaven does not store full card numbers or sensitive payment credentials. We do store transaction amounts and Stripe payment identifiers in order to support refunds and record-keeping. Please review Stripe's Privacy Policy for information on how they handle payment data.
Usage data. We collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This information is used to operate and improve the platform.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use Attendee data for advertising purposes.
When you register for an event as an Attendee, your registration information is shared with the Organizer of that event. Organizers are responsible for their own use of that data and their own privacy practices. We encourage you to review any privacy notice provided by the Organizer before registering.
EventHaven uses the following third-party services that may process your data:
EventHaven sends emails on behalf of Organizers, such as registration confirmations and event announcements. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing opts you out of future marketing emails from that Organizer via EventHaven; it does not affect transactional emails directly related to your registration (such as refund confirmations).
We retain account and registration data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Organizers may delete events and registration records from within the platform. If you wish to have your personal data removed, contact us at [email protected] and we will process your request within 30 days, subject to any legal retention requirements.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), access controls, and secure third-party hosting. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
EventHaven is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you may have additional rights under the GDPR. If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA.
EventHaven uses cookies and similar technologies to maintain your login session and for basic platform functionality. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. You can configure your browser to block cookies, but doing so may prevent the platform from functioning correctly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify Organizers of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the platform. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
